My favorite flower. Such a versatile plant. Works well as a border plant in a coastal sage scrub themed garden, especially when planted in clusters of 5 or more. But it ALSO works great hidden amongst the grasses in a grassland themed garden. Looks beautiful in sparser plantings with lots of boulders. I thought that was about it, but when I went to a hike in Ojai, I even saw it growing in the shade under oaks and conifers! Such an all star plant.
