Our Goals






Our October 2023-September 2024 Goals
-
A total of 30 workshops/events will take place between Oct 2023 & Sept 2024.
-
10 new MiniNature Reserves (MNRs) will be installed throughout the Oxnard/Port Hueneme/El Rio Area
-
1,500 native plants will be restored to the Sa'aqtik'oy Plain
-
10,000 square feet of land in Oxnard/Port Hueneme/El Rio will be restored with native plants
-
At least 30% of these native plants will be grown by the community through the Pan Y Plantas Workshops.
-
1 MNR will be installed at a public school.

1 MNR will be installed at a public library.
-
2 local artists will be commissioned to paint utility boxes or make sculptures.
-
Engage 8+ paid speakers from diverse backgrounds
