Biography
As co-founder, Miranda Magaña has overseen MiniNature Reserve grow from what started as a backyard nursery into a national movement of youth empowerment and climate action. She has secured partnerships with Patagonia, Whole Foods, Cheetos, the Walking Softer Foundation, REI, and Indigenous organizations.
Miranda graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA and is a Fulbright Fellow. She has been honored by the Bank of Montreal as a Sustainability Entrepreneur and Community Leader Fellow and certified as a Climate Steward by the Community Environmental Council.
She is currenlty based in Tokyo, Japan, where she leads art workshops and creative community events.
